At HSEF we offer multiple high-value practical skills that ensure students are well prepared for job and entrepreneurship opportunities

Hand Skills Empowerment Foundation (HASEF) is a community-based NGO founded by experienced technicians dedicated to equipping youth and vulnerable groups with practical vocational skills that lead to employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.

Our welding program trains young people in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques essential for construction, manufacturing, and metal fabrication industries. Graduates leave with the confidence and competence to join the workforce or start their own workshops.

This program covers the complete process of sofa construction, from frame building and foam cutting to fabric selection and finishing. Trainees gain hands-on experience creating market-ready furniture that meets modern design standards and customer expectations.

Our upholstery course teaches the art of restoring and covering furniture with quality materials. Students learn pattern layout, fabric stretching, padding techniques, and finishing details that prepare them for careers in furniture restoration and interior design.

The painting program covers surface preparation, color mixing, brush and spray techniques for both residential and commercial settings. Participants develop skills in decorative finishes, wall treatments, and protective coatings used across the building industry.

Our design training introduces creative problem-solving, drafting, and digital tools used in furniture and interior design. Students learn to translate client needs into detailed plans and visual concepts that guide production from idea to finished product.
