Hand Skills Empowerment Foundation (HASEF) is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering youth and vulnerable groups through practical vocational skills. By combining hands-on training with mentorship, we help individuals build the confidence and abilities needed to create sustainable livelihoods.



Hand Skills Empowerment Foundation was created by experienced technicians who recognized the growing need for practical, market-ready skills among young people in Rwanda. Many youth leave school with ambition and determination but lack the hands-on experience needed to enter the workforce. Driven by a commitment to change this reality, our founders built a foundation focused on practical learning, mentorship, and real-world skills. Today, HASEF continues to empower individuals with the tools they need to build independent and sustainable futures.

HASEF is entirely built and managed by a team of experienced technicians, including carpenters, upholstery experts, and workshop managers who collaborate to deliver technical work and community projects, giving the foundation strong practical roots.

At HASEF, our programs go beyond theory, equipping individuals with practical skills they can apply directly in their communities and workplaces. From workshops in carpentry and upholstery to collaborative technical projects, we ensure learning is rooted in real-world application.
